Deception Thy Name is Dataprocessors.org

As promised my part two in the saga that is dataprocessors.org. To get everyone up to date this is what has been going down for the better part of a week.

Step 1. I read/hear about dataprocessors.org
Step 2. I read/hear about how many people have been screwed and scammed by them
Step 3. I spring into action

I paid the and worked and then contacted them for my payment/refund so naturally like everyone else my emails were ignored and the only response I managed to get was an auto response telling me to update my account or something (I don't remember exactly what the email said Deadliest Catch was on gimme a break) So I did some digging and noticed that although they have a refund policy there's no way to get in touch with any customer service or a page on their site or anything like that. Clue #1 it's a scam. So I thought hmmm what else what else. Did some more digging and contacted paypal who offers a dispute section under which you may file a claim for refund from anyone who received money for a product or service through paypal. So I filed a claim and within 24hrs I received a full refund and $5 for being an affiliate, which I'm not. I guess they're confused but hey I'll take it. So long story short contact paypal and get your money back and maybe a little extra like I did. I used to get really pissed at all of the fees related to paypal and ebay but today they were on my side so... water under the bridge ebay/paypal. Lemme know what happens. I'll post to answer any questions if anyone gets stuck.

Very Truly Yours,
SteelRain

Dataprocessors.org is scammy... I mean scummy

Well I signed up for dataprocessors.org and long story short I think that's $20 I'll never see again. The online reviews were awful and being the internet's most fabulous investigative blogger/celebrity/international sex symbol that I am I decided to try it. So my official review, as promised, is as follows. Signing up and working for dataprocessors.org is a lot like dating a nun. You can try as hard as you like but you'll never get the reward. I'm workin on getting my money back which is slow right now so I'm going through a third party so if I luck out and do get by 20 bones back I'll fill in all of my loyal fans in on how to do just that. Until next time rebels.

Me Thinks I Got Screwed

I hate to be premature in my review so I'll call this an update. Remember way back when I mentioned I'd signed up for a work at home site? Well if you don't scroll down the page and relive the magic. Anyway as far as the juicy details go I signed up for legitonlinejobs.com. It was $40 and came with $1,000,000 worth of promises and positive reviews. I figured it had been around long enough and there so many positive reviews online I figured it was the best bet. Now I've navigated the site and checked out probably 80% of it and used some of the links/techniques here and there. I haven't gotten balls deep in it yet so maybe I need to dig a little in order to make my $40 back but right now I'm a little less than impressed with the site. A fair amount of links are actually dead or have been moved somewhere else. In first few introductory pages they asked that you tell them if you find a dead link. HA!! Wouldn't that be great, genius really. Get people to pay $40 to join your site then have them review it and help keep it updated. I'm paying to work. God Bless America!!!!!

I'll keep on keeping on. They do make it clear that's it's not an immediate cash flow sort of thing which I understand so maybe with time something worth $40 will come of it. Between me and all of you beautiful folks I'm not holding my breath.

Surveyganza!

Paid surveys paid surveys paid surveys... What to say? Well three weeks ago when I was first gettin' geared up to launch Rebel Yell I signed up for several survey sites. And a few thousand keystrokes later I'm signed up and ready to go. As bad as my fingers and eyes hurt after signing up for all of those sites I now have one thought and one thought only... You know what doesn't hurt? Getting paid. In fact I looked it up and I'm pretty sure that no one in the history of time has ever gotten hurt from getting paid. I say all of this because today I got a check in the mail. From who you ask? From these guys: American Consumer Opinion Panel. Their website doesn't offer much as far as looking at account balances or anything. They just send you and email with a survey in it and bingo you get a check mailed to you. Mine was for $15 so maybe a few more from the gazillion other sites I signed up for and I'll, I mean we'll, be on my, I mean our, way. Later Gators.

So I Took the Plunge

Well well well sports fans your's truly has taken the plunge and purchased a membership to a work from home website. I did a lot of research and by a lot I mean my ass is successfully numb to find and bring you what I think will be the best shot at buying into a system that works. I'm not going to go into any sort of detail as far as what I spent and the site right now... We'll save those juicy details for later. Once I get the hang of it I'll post back and let all of you devishly handsome readers know just how much I've thrown away or if it, dare I say, has worked.

What to look forward to at our next mysterious encounter...

-Update on dataprocessors.org
-What the deal is with getting free laptops, ipods and cash through online offers
-Maybe just maybe I'll get into online casinos and drop some blackjack knowledge on you eager beavers

Find It For Less: Dealcatcher.com

As one of my first "Find It For Less" articles I want to feature a site that I visit daily and has a bunch of cool stuff for less called Dealcatcher.com. They're basically an online bottleneck for a bunch of companies from Sears to Old Navy to advertise website sales and discounts. They also provide coupon codes for a lot of sites that you can use to get further discounts. According to the powers that be over at DealCatcher they attract 6 million visitors a month so they're more than legit. They don't sell the products themselves they just list all of the companies and products that are for sale. Last winter I found a James Dean jacket from A&F (cool huh) for under $25 shipped. Anyway every time I visit it's a struggle not to buy one of the 1080p TVs listed for $900 shipped. Check it out and give a Rebel Yell if you like it.
